New Hampshire

Nashua (where I currently live) lies on the border of New Hampshire and Massachusetts. New Hampshire - the Granite State, is a relatively small state, where it takes about 2 hours to drive from east to west, and approx. 4 hours to drive north to south. New Hampshire offers some of the best sights in New England. It is probably most famous for the Autumn season, where people come from far and wide to see the beautiful colours of the leaves. New Hampshire has 4 distinct seasons (though Winter is far too long for me). Spring is a relief after the long months of cold, dark, snowy Winter. Summer is short and quite warm. Autumn is beautiful with lots to do - from pumpkin picking, apple picking, hay rides and watching the leaves change colours. Photo LEFT is in the Lakes District where during Autumn it is a common thing to see huge mountains of pumpkins for sale. People purchase them to decorate the front of their houses, and then to make Jack Lanterns at Halloween.
